Kirsten is a senior finance professional who has worked in the natural and organic food industry for over 11 years. She is currently the CFO of Fantasy Cookie Company, a private label, natural and organic cookie manufacturer located in southern California. Kirsten previously was the CFO of Natural Food Works, a start-up natural and organic food manufacturer in Denver, CO. She also worked for Rudi’s Organic Bakery in the years leading up to their acquisition by The Hain Celestial Group. Her finance career began in the energy industry, but shortly after moving to Boulder, she changed industries, working for Wild Oats Markets and then Sterling-Rice Group, a brand management and marketing firm.
Kirsten earned a BSBA from Shippensburg University and an MBA from University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business. After spending eleven years in Boulder, Colorado she now resides in Agoura Hills, California. Kirsten stays active with CU’s Leeds School of Business as the former President of the Leeds MBA Alumni Board and as a mentor to undergraduate Accounting students. She is married and has two teenage daughters.
