Andy Fleming is the CEO and a founding principal of WAY TO GROW INC, the research and practice home of the Deliberately Developmental OrganizationÔ. He is also a contributing author to the firm’s highly acclaimed book, An Everyone Culture: Becoming a Deliberately Developmental Organization (Robert Kegan & Lisa Lahey; Harvard Business Review Press, 2016).
Along with 30 years of corporate and consulting experience at leading companies—including Procter & Gamble, Aetna, and The Hay Group—Andy brings unique insight, ability, and commitment to helping individuals and organizations flourish. Among his accomplishments: helping a large client reach #1 on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work ForÒ list.
Andy’s background also includes five years directing professional and undergraduate programming in “Ethics and Servant Leadership” at Emory University’s Center for Ethics, where he developed a widely-used framework for helping students focus their interests and capabilities on the needs of the world around them.
Andy received his undergraduate degree from Yale University, where he majored in economics and captained the varsity basketball team. His graduate work includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and sustained study at Emory’s Candler School of Theology.
Author of two books on life-work choices (Getting Ahead Without Losing Heart and Backing Down the Ladder), Andy and his wife and two children live in Atlanta, GA.
