Jacob has over 10 years’ experience in marketing and sales in the nutrition industry. He is currently the global marketing manager responsible for the vitamin portfolio in the human nutrition and health division of DSM, the world’s largest nutritional ingredient supplier. A key element of this position is to lead projects to educate consumers and key opinion leaders about the importance of adequate vitamin consumption. Jacob is also very active in developing new applications for existing products within the vitamin portfolio, as well as exploring opportunities for the development of new nutritional ingredients.
In previous roles, Jacob has been engaged in new product development and market creation for new nutritional ingredients in the dietary supplement and functional food arena. Through these roles, Jacob gained a wealth of experience and expertise in product positioning, value proposition creation and effective product launch and life cycle management.
